Welcome!

Welcome to the Documentation section of PERCUWEB. Here you will find hyperlinks to different reference sites and original material (presentations, exercises, hints, etc.) prepared by our contributors. For convenience, and considering the nature of the documentation in percussion, we divided the information in two sections, knowing however that overlappings are possible:

World Music : contents presented by cultural areas. Different sections will be added as new contributors submit material. Coordination of this section is maintained by Luc Boivin.
Instruments : information about different instruments, regardless of style or cultural origin : symphonic or contemporary music instruments, or tradionnal instruments played in different regions of the world.

This section will be under permanent development. Those who wish to offer their contribution to PERCUweb can do so by clicking HERE.

Quebec percussion festivals or events

Montreal Drum Festl	Site of the Montreal Drum Fest, mostly devoted to drums, held annually in Montreal in November.
Festival international de percussions de Longueuil	Site of the Festival international de percussions de Longueuil held annually in Longueuil on the south shore of Montreal in July.
Percu-Phonie	Site of PERCU-Phonie, an internatl percussion festival held annually at the end of July in lSaint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, south of Montreal.
