A few tricks:

To replace a vibraphone strap: you will find replacement straps for very little money in hydraulic equipement suppliers. Dimensions: 1/8” X 5 3/4” appr.

To get a very slow vibrato, make the strap turn directly on the motor rod, besides the pulley.

To clean your vibraphone bars, use a cymbal cleaner.

To replace the ropes, use hempen or cotton rope.
